And I’ll be reading and signing at Stockton’s premier (and only) indie bookseller, Mr. Otto’s Bookstore on the Miracle Mile! Vintage Faire in Modesto

Check out the upcoming Vintage Faire at North Market in Modesto! There’s going to be a bunch of local, talented artisans present, and I’ll bet you that they just might be willing to exchange their beautiful arts and crafts for your legal tender. I’ll also be present with a collection of novels (each one looking for their forever home), so swing by and pick one or thee up. They’re so adorable!!!

Talking Structure at The Haggin Museum

On Saturday, January 25th, I’ll be in the Haggin Museum at 2 o’clock giving my world “famous” one-hour presentation on how to write a novel. I’ll be covering everything from KM Weiland to Dwight Swain with a focus on how simple techniques compose macro-structure in modern writing. It should be instructive and fun, but if it’s boring then at least we’ll be in The Haggin which is a gorgeous place be no matter what mood you’re in.

Old Debts now available at The Haggin!

I’m very pleased and proud to announce that the gift shop at the Haggin will be carrying my Old Debts! It’s the dream of every (most) authors to see their work being sold in a brick and mortar shop, and the amazing team at The Haggin has made mine possible! A HUGE thanks to everyone there! And if you have an afternoon open, you should definitely check them out. Along with my novel they have a ton of amazing artwork.

Old Debts Out Now!

I can finally say after years of writing (thank you Covid for the year and a half delay) that Old Debts is finally out in ebook and paperback format. It’s available at Amazon and follows PI Jake Carter, and his partner Professor Nafissa Rayan, as they hunt a ruthless serial killer through the streets of Stockton, with 5% of all proceeds going to fight housing and food insecurity in the San Joaquin Valley.
